About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Android Developer to join our vibrant team. In this senior role, you will be responsible for leading the development and enhancement of our Android applications, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with modern architecture standards. You will take ownership of our Android platform, mentor junior developers, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UI/UX designers, backend developers, and product managers. Your expertise will drive innovation and improve the overall quality of our mobile solutions, directly impacting the user experience for our clients and end-users.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Android development with extensive experience in Java and Kotlin. Proven expertise in building scalable, high-performance mobile applications is essential. You should have a solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON data handling, and modern development workflows such as Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD). Experience with frameworks and tools like Retrofit, Dagger, RxJava, OkHttp, and Espresso is highly desirable. A proactive attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team are crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Android applications, ensuring high quality and performance standards.
