What You'll be Doing:
We are looking for talented, creative and positive team players to join our highly-skilled Cross-Functional Product and Engineering Team to help design new features for our iOS, Android and Apple watch applications and third-party integrations (Garmin, Strava, Coros, Suuntu etc). You will work closely with our founders, engineers, PM and most importantly customers to help shape the future of Runna who will be there to support you all the way along this exciting journey.

What You'll be Doing:
We are looking for talented, creative and positive team players to join our highly-skilled Cross-Functional Product and Engineering Team to help design new features for our iOS, Android and Apple watch applications and third-party integrations (Garmin, Strava, Coros, Suuntu etc). You will work closely with our founders, engineers, PM and most importantly customers to help shape the future of Runna who will be there to support you all the way along this exciting journey.
- Working with the whole team as well as our amazing customers to discover and prioritise user's needs across their journey
- Work with Product and Engineering to create solutions / customer journeys for complex design problems
- Illustrate design ideas using user flows and prototypes in Figma
- Conduct user testing sessions and incorporate feedback into your work
- Collaborate with developers to handover designs and ensure great interaction
- Continue to iterate and help develop our design system in Figma
Requirements
What You'll Bring To The Team:
- 2 - 4 years experience as a UX / Product Designer including experience with mobile design
- A design generalist; while you may have developed a specialism, you have a range of typography, layout and information visualisation skills
- Love speaking to users to understand needs, in order to solve problems as effectively as possible
- Partnering with product and growth to leverage quantitative data to solve problems
- Obsess over small details that take designs to the next level (e.g., perfect pixel alignment, interaction, animations)
- Advanced Figma & prototyping skills
- Confident working with a cross-functional team in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Confident facilitating and participating in workshops and discussions to promote the communication of ideas
- Have worked with consumer/start-up/mobile apps before
- Have worked with React Native teams before and understand the design implications
- Have worked on smartwatch interface design
- Have an interest or background in fitness, running or health

Our Interview Process:
Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:
- Screening call with Jake, Talent Associate (:30 minutes video call)
- Intro Chat with Cleber, Head of Design (:30 minutes video call)
- Take home design task (:1 hour to complete)
- Design walkthrough and app critique (50 minutes video call - the first part will be used to discuss the design task from the previous stage and the second talking through an app that you know well)
- Meet the team (virtual or in-person chat with founders and rest of the team)
