Cyber security intern

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cybersecurity Sales Intern with a background or education in cybersecurity to join our business development team. This role blends technical knowledge with sales skills, giving you exposure to both the commercial and technical sides of the cybersecurity industry. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to identify opportunities, engage potential clients, and help communicate the value of our cybersecurity solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in generating leads and identifying new sales opportunities in the cybersecurity sector.
• Support the sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
• Communicate technical cybersecurity concepts in a clear, business-focused way to potential clients.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and tailored solutions for client needs.
• Research market trends, competitors, and emerging threats to inform sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate CRM records of sales activities and client interactions.

Requirements:

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats, and solutions.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and presentation skills.
• Interest in both the technical and commercial aspects of cybersecurity.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred:

• Previous exposure to cybersecurity tools, frameworks, or certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH).
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure, cloud platforms, and security solutions.
• Sales or customer engagement experience (academic, internship, or volunteer).
