We are looking for a JAVA Software Engineer (2x/month in Porto) 🛡

Skills:

• +6 years of active experience in JAVA (8+/11+/16+), with a deep understanding of code refactoring and modernization techniques;
• Developing APIs with JAX-RS;
• Microservices with Spring Boot;
• PostgreSQL and SQL Server database management;
• Hibernate for Object-Relational Mapping (ORM);
• Jenkins in a CI/CD environment;
• Git for version control and Maven for build automation.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work with legacy Java 11+ code, focusing on refactoring and code optimization;
• Design and implement APIs using JAX-RS, integrating with various internal systems and services;
• Develop new features and build microservices in Spring Boot, aligning with business requirements;
• Manage and interact with databases, primarily PostgreSQL and SQL Server, to support data-driven applications;
• Collaborate in the CI/CD process using Jenkins for smooth deployment and continuous integration;
• Utilize Git for version management and Maven for efficient build processes;
• Participate actively in Scrum ceremonies, maintaining clear communication with cross-functional teams.
