Artificial Intelligence Engineer

AI Developer | Freelance / FTE | Leuven (Hybrid)

We are seeking an AI Developer to join our client’s team, focusing on computer vision and image recognition solutions for global terminal automation. You will design, build, and optimize deep learning models to support their products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI models for image and video analysis
• Write and maintain production-ready code for AI-driven applications
• Integrate AI solutions into existing software systems
• Validate and test models to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with R&D to explore and implement new AI concepts
• Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing

Experience

• Master’s degree in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in AI development
• Strong programming skills in Python and C/C++
• Analytical problem-solver with strong communication skills in Dutch and English
