We are proud to have launched a new state-of-the-art technology facility in Dublin, Ireland. The Dublin-based team plays a critical role in our continued digital transformation and will function as a center of excellence for SiriusXM’s global Product and Technology organization.
SiriusXM’s new Dublin facility will comprise a workforce primarily focused on software development, automotive technology and engineering, AdTech, data science, and analytics. Talent based in the new technology hub will be charged with developing and implementing best-in-class standards for high-quality, scalable software deliveries for SiriusXM’s streaming and in-vehicle audio entertainment platforms.

SiriusXM’s Services and Platform Engineering organization is growing in Dublin! We’re hiring software engineers at almost all levels to join a variety of teams across almost all of our domains–content and playback services, commerce, identity, vehicle and device services. Our engineers are building the next generation of production services that power SiriusXM and Pandora, serving tens of millions of listeners across North America.
Whether it’s delivering high-throughput services, designing fault-tolerant systems, or accelerating internal developer productivity, our teams are tackling impactful technical challenges across the company. You’ll contribute to these efforts while helping to shape the future of our architecture, development practices, and engineering culture.

What You’ll Do
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Build scalable, performant, and resilient backend systems that support critical business needs.
- Participate in system design and architecture reviews to influence technical direction.
- Drive software quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive engineering culture through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and leadership at your level.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues in production environments.
- Author and review technical design documents, RFCs, and root cause analyses.
- Continuously learn and grow in your engineering craft and domain knowledge.
- Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure swift resolution of any production outages involving your systems.
- 1+ years of professional experience.
- Experience in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Scala, Go, Python).
- Experience implementing RESTful APIs and integrating with service backends.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle, including Git, CI/CD, and unit/integration testing.
- Exposure to distributed systems or cloud environments in a production or academic setting.
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a collaborative team.
- A solid grasp of engineering fundamentals and system design basics.
- Demonstrated accountability for writing reliable, maintainable code.
- Interest in Scala and/or functional programming.
- Familiarity with AWS services, containerization, or serverless computing.
- Interest in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CDK.
