Title: Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a talented Senior Cloud Engineer with expertise in Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines. This role will involve designing, developing, and deploying services and resources on Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building solutions on Azure using Terraform, along with strong expertise in Azure DevOps for deployment. The candidate should have a solid understanding of Azure services and ideally have familiarity with services such as Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure AI services, and Azure App services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
• Support the design and lead the implementation of IaC solutions using Terraform to deploy and manage Azure resources.
• Support the design and lead the deployment of Azure services, including Databricks workspaces, AI Services, Azure App Services, storage accounts in a highly secure environment.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies for Azure resources.
• Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to understand infrastructure requirements and deployment objectives.
• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on IaC and Azure best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to deployment of cloud infrastructure and services.
• Document processes, procedures, and best practices.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering or a related role.
• Proven track record in designing and implementing IaC solutions using Terraform.
• Extensive experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline setup and management.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services and resource management, including networking, compute, storage. Knowledge of services including Databricks, Azure AI services, and Azure App services beneficial.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.
• Analytical mind-set with the ability to analyse system performance and optimize infrastructure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Developer Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are desirable
