Senior Financial Insights Analyst – Dublin, Ireland

We are seeking an experienced Senior Financial Insights Analyst to join a high-performing Business Insights team. This is a permanent, full-time role offering a competitive package, where you’ll work with the finance function to analyse diverse data sources, model financial information, and provide actionable insights that directly influence strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for Finance and Revenue teams for all data and analytical needs.
• Write SQL scripts on existing tables for data reconciliations, and build new SQL tables/views where required.
• Deliver aggregated reporting with drill-down capabilities to create a single source of truth.
• Scope, execute, and present ad hoc analysis to senior stakeholders, including C-suite.
• Identify and resolve data quality issues, implementing scalable solutions.
• Maintain documentation for key metrics, processes, calculations, and known limitations.

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years’ experience in a data analytics role, with a strong background in financial data analysis.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with at least one visualisation tool (e.g., Power BI).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and accuracy-focused mindset.
• Experience with financial metrics and understanding of P&L items and managing complex datasets from multiple sources.
• Ability to clearly explain technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
