DevOps Engineer

who has a strong background in container orchestration, automation & IaC, with hands-on experience in managing complex, distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy & manage containerized applications using K8S & Docker platforms
• Develop & maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, ensuring efficient & reliable software delivery processes
• Implement & manage automation workflows with Ansible, enhancing infrastructure provisioning & configuration management
• Utilize IaC tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to provision & manage cloud & hybrid environments
• Administer source code management (SCM) systems, primarily Git, to support collaborative development practices
• Contribute to the monitoring & observability of systems using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or similar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system scalability, performance & security in line with business & regulatory requirements

Required skills

• BSc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or recognized certifications in DevOps-related technologies
• Proven experience with K8S, Docker & container orchestration in production environments
• Strong knowledge of GitLab for both source control & CI/CD pipeline management
• Proficiency in Ansible for automation & configuration management
• Hands-on experience with Terraform &/or AWS CloudFormation for infrastructure provisioning
• Familiarity with GitOps practices & modern DevOps workflows
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms, particularly AWS
