Senior .NET Developer

Our client is a leading IT and digital solutions provider, specialising in supply chain optimisation for the Life Sciences sector.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with 10+ years' experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance, scalable web applications using .NET technologies. You will be responsible for backend services and APIs, working closely with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust, efficient, and maintainable software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop backend systems and APIs using .NET 9+.
• Implement scalable, secure, and maintainable application architectures.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation and cloud-based deployments.
• Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and knowledge sharing within the team.
• Engage in requirement analysis, estimation, and sprint planning in an Agile environment.
• Document system designs, architecture decisions, and development procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years of professional experience in .NET (C#) development.
• Hands-on experience with .NET 9+ and ASP.NET Core Web API.
• Proficiency in Entity Framework Core and SQL-based databases.
• Experience with Azure cloud services, including App Services, Functions, and Key Vault.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API principles and microservices architecture.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Mentor junior/mid-level developers and promote clean architecture and maintainable code.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• English required, second European language highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI, Row-Level Security (RLS), or business intelligence tools.
• Familiarity with Databricks integration and working with large-scale data workflows.
• Understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.
• Previous experience in enterprise application development or large-scale system migrations.
