Data Scientist

For our client, a leading pharmaceutical company in Basel, we are looking for a Data Scientist. The consultant could work fully remotely.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop, train and deploy AI driven products to help business (at least two).
• Collect requirements from business and develop solution and collect feedback
• Building solutions on cloud environments

Qualifications:

• Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science or Datascience, a related technical field, or equivalent ML experience.
• 5+ years of Machine Learning Experience in academia or pharmaceutical/healthcare industry: developing ML/DL algorithms and architectures, training models, hyperparameter tuning, feature engineering, automated pipelines development etc
• Extensive experience with statistical methodologies, machine learning, NLP, Bayesian statistics and deep learning
• Experience with scientific analysis packages such as scikit-learn and pytorch or others
• Experience in Large Language Models and MLOps or LLMOps is a plus
• Extensive experience with analytics, including statistical programming languages (R, Python, SQL, SAS)
• Experience/knowledge with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, etc.,)
• Prior experience using large transactional databases such as claims databases, EMR, registries or financial databases is a plus
• Experience with cloud platforms or platform as service such as Kubernetes, Palantir Foundry, AWS, Azure is plus
