The IT department at Starrag operates a comprehensive infrastructure of local servers, storage systems, and networks across 10 locations worldwide. It manages over 300 servers, 1,200 notebooks, and 700 iPhones, and provides powerful Microsoft 365 collaboration tools to the entire group. To strengthen our team at the group headquarters in Rorschacherberg, we are looking for a generalist to support the maintenance, operation, security, and modernization of our IT infrastructure.

Your Contribution to Our Success

You’ll have the opportunity to apply your skills and grow with us by taking on the following responsibilities:

·        Managing and optimizing our virtualization environment with VMware and vCenter

·        Administering the VDI infrastructure using Citrix to provide virtual desktops and apps

·        Maintaining and servicing our storage systems

·        Ensuring proper operation of backup solutions

·        Managing mobile devices using Intune

·        Planning and executing hardware renewals and license management

·        Ensuring proper documentation of all IT processes, infrastructure architecture, and service configurations

What You Bring to the Table

·        Completed technical training (EFZ, HF, FH) in IT or a comparable qualification

·        At least 3 years of professional experience as a System Engineer

·        Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft server environment and VMware virtualization

·        Experience with backup solutions and storage system management
