Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead on-site railway construction projects (production phase, not maintenance). This is a hands-on role overseeing groundworks, track installation, and coordinating subcontractors across signals, telecom, and electrification.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage on-site railway construction projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
• Oversee groundworks and track-related works, coordinating all aspects of the project.
• Manage subcontractors for signals, telecom, and electrification, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain site safety in accordance with Trafikverket requirements (valid rail safety certifications required)
• Handle budgeting, hiring, resource allocation, and project profitability.
• Serve as the primary link between the client, project team, and company management.

Work Pattern & Travel:

• Projects may be 200–300 km from home, with frequent overnight stays.
• Location and duration vary depending on project stage; flexibility is key.
• Some weeks require intensive on-site presence (including weekends); other weeks may be lighter.
• Role requires adaptability and a willingness to work outside a traditional 9–5 schedule.

Candidate Profile:

• Proven experience in rail works or heavy groundworks.
• Strong knowledge of Swedish rail safety regulations.
• Skilled in managing teams, subcontractors, machinery, and budgets.
• Comfortable with variable working hours and frequent travel.
• Resilient, adaptable, and results-oriented.

Salary & Benefits:

• Base salary: approx. 50,000–60,000 SEK/month.
• Performance bonus: potential to earn 2–3× monthly salary annually.
