About The Role
DNV Høvik is looking for a platform engineering developer for DNV’s digitalization services and integrated hosting platform in Azure.
DNV is the world’s largest classification society with a global presence. DNV is a self-owned foundation, to safeguard life, property, and the environment. Located at DNV’s head office, you will be part of the team delivering systems for new digital services and digitalization of the global production processes and systems. The team consists of experienced programmers, working in tandem with domain experts and data scientists.
You will be part of the Smart Use of Data team, delivering platforms and systems that drive digitalization by creating and enabling new data-driven services. This includes both application and platform development. Professional, structured, creative, and advanced programming and use of Azure components and cloud-native infrastructure is part of the team’s DNA. Our applications and platforms have a global impact through our global organization, and through cooperation with large companies.
DNV Maritime has developed a state-of-the-art application hosting platform over many years, serving reliable hosting business-critical applications, with special focus on supporting frictionless deployment and operation of AI and data-driven applications. The platform has two times been selected as a customer story in large, international conferences (MS Ignite 2019 and Gartner Business Summit 2024).
We are looking for a new, skilled software developer to continue this journey. The work involves further development and modernization of our Kubernetes operator, infrastructure provisioning code and observability platform. Your role will be to develop, enhance and maintain the application hosting platform, utilizing both .Net and Golang programming languages. You will contribute to enhancing the platform's capabilities through seamless integration with DNV’s services and native Azure services.
