We're looking for an IoT Solutions Engineer to lead the development, evaluation, and deployment of advanced IoT solutions across complex and demanding field environments. This is a cross-functional role that blends R&D, vendor management, implementation, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Development & R&D

• Design and prototype IoT solutions for heavy machinery, vehicles, and industrial assets
• Research and select technologies in sensing, edge computing, power systems, and connectivity
• Build and test field-ready sensor systems under extreme environmental conditions

Vendor & Supply Chain Management

• Source and evaluate high-quality IoT vendors globally
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and SLAs
• Maintain strong supplier relationships to stay ahead of technological trends

Field Deployment & Testing

• Lead pilot programs and field testing on operational sites
• Work hands-on with field teams to collect data and troubleshoot systems in real time

Platform Integration

• Collaborate with software engineers to ensure smooth data integration
• Define APIs and data flows for cloud-based analytics
• Maintain robust internal documentation and technical standards

Project Management

• Create and execute structured deployment plans across large asset fleets
• Monitor performance metrics and continuously improve hardware rollouts

Sales & Customer Support

• Support pre-sales conversations with technical expertise
• Customize IoT solutions based on client use cases and ROI models

Innovation & Thought Leadership

• Drive internal innovation in smart sensing, sustainability, and industrial automation
• Stay informed on global trends, compliance standards, and regulatory changes

What We’re Looking For:

• 5–8 years in IoT, telematics, or hardware systems within industrial sectors
• Deep understanding of sensor technology and protocols (e.g., LoRa, NB-IoT, BLE, LTE-M)
• Strong field deployment and hardware integration experience
• Knowledge of local compliance requirements (e.g., SIRA, ESMA, SASO) is a plus
• Proficient in working with REST APIs and cloud data platforms
• Skilled at cross-functional collaboration and vendor negotiations
• Strong communication and documentation abilities
• Fluency in English
