We're a B2B2C empowering professionals and researchers in conservation, ecology, landscape architecture, and early stage urban planning.

We'll get people to nature with gamified versions of our product. We aim to boost users’ mental and physical health while they participate in citizen science, yet perceive entertainment.

Illuminum strives for an environmental good at near-zero operations. Until now, we've built everything without a single flight and a single car ride.

Illuminum's Product

gaia.eco searches and joins global biodiversity datasets. We're on a mission to integrate all types of biodiversity data seamlessly - like windy.com does with weather and climate.

Then we’ll create a professional PaaS studio for biodiversity analytics and train an AI for nature-based solutions to combat extinction, accelerate conservation and compliance.

As a brand, Illuminum builds technology that empowers people them get their work done faster and cheaper.

Yet, in the process we must make them stop, make them marvel at nature’s beauty and recognize its genius. Hence, the quality and hard work is on us, not the user.

Your Role

This is a full-time+ Californian style on-site full stack role specializing on R Shiny, LLM prompting, agentic workflows and distributed cloud computing, located in Trondheim.

You will

• build the most ambitious R Shiny application yet
• pioneer data engineering and GIS for nature
• pitch gaia.eco to everyone you meet
• represent Illuminum on conferences and in virtual meetings
