Position Title :: Android Developer

Location :: Toronto, Canada day one onsite (3 days Hybrid)

Contract Role

Experience :: 10 + years

JD for Android Responsibilities:

1. Successful delivery of high-quality mobile software (requirements, design, code, documentation, etc.) to help customers import documents into client products Roughly 80-90% hands-on coding
2. Lead quality activities, including peer reviews of estimates, designs and code Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches MVVM and MVC Architecture Partner effectively with all team members to deliver against commitments.
3. Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management, various product lines, or business units to drive forward results
4. Commitment to team success and positive team dynamics
5. Passion for growing and applying technical skills in service to customers Experience with Agile Development, Scrum, and/or Extreme Programming methodologies

Education and Qualification:

1. BS/MS in computer science or equivalent 5+ years' experience in developing software on Android platform.
2. Experience with Kotlin Experience with Computer Vision related problems in an asset An understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) An understanding of unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD) "Self-starter"" attitude and ability to make decisions independently Helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems
