Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Quality Assurance Specialist at Sophun Games. The role is based in the West London Area, United Kingdom, with some work from home flexibility.
As a QA Engineer, you’ll be instrumental in ensuring our casual games are functional, stable, and enjoyable. From early development to post-launch support, you’ll oversee testing processes to guarantee top-tier gaming experiences on mobile platforms. We’re seeking someone with a love for casual games, a sharp eye for detail, and expertise in mobile app testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough testing using diverse methods to validate game functionality and performance on mobile platforms (iOS, Android, Amazon).
- Collaborating with design, development, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of features and bug-free gameplay.
- Utilizing expertise in test management and bug tracking systems (e.g., TestRail, Jira) to identify, document, and resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain clear, detailed test documentation and reports to support development cycles.
- Experience in using tools: Firebase, Crashlytics or similar
- Drive quality assurance efforts from project kickoff through post-release, ensuring lasting
- player satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance of mobile applications.
- Solid understanding of different testing methods, techniques, and types.
- Familiarity with development processes and software life cycles.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
- Intermediate English proficiency (or higher).
