DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST, AI

We are now seeking an innovative and experienced new Development Specialist to join our Data & Analytics team for a permanent position at our head office in Helsinki. In this role you will get to fully immerse yourself in the world of AI and both build and develop Lindström’s AI capabilities. Join Lindström now and help us make a difference!

Your key contribution areas

In this position you will play a vital role in defining the roadmap for Lindström’s AI-driven solutions and will be responsible for its execution and alignment with our business strategy. You will be in a key position to make sure we stay on top of the AI game by following trends and keeping up to date with the best practises and tools. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with business leaders, product owners, and engineering teams to discover high-impact AI opportunities and translate them into actionable initiatives
• Exploring and prototyping emerging AI technologies
• Overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle of AI projects
• Driving quick adoption of AI enabled tools and promoting best practices across teams
• Promoting ethical AI development practices and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws and AI governance frameworks
• Championing a culture of continuous learning and responsible AI development, as well as working closely with business leaders in identifying AI opportunities

We are looking for a new team member with experience in AI agents and machine learning. At the heart of this role is an innate curiosity and passion for exploring emerging AI technologies. As our AI champion, you will spark interest in new technologies and motivate Lindströmers across the organization to embrace AI opportunities. Beyond technical expertise, we value a hands-on mindset, the resilience to navigate challenges, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to connect with people.

To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

• Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics or related field
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience in AI or machine learning solution development
• Strong understanding of Microsoft AI technology (e.g. Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI foundry)
• Experience with GenAI technologies and large language models (e.g. GPT, Claude, LLaMA)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
• Excellent written and spoken English language skills

You will be part of our agile Data & Analytics team of dedicated professionals who play a critical role in helping the business make informed decisions based on data-driven insights. The team collaborates closely with various departments to ensure our data supports business goals and drives innovation. You will join an international team that fosters a culture of continuous improvement and values collaboration and positive spirit.
