Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Back-End Developer at Justsnap. The Back-End Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side logic, as well as integrating the front-end elements of the application. Responsibilities include database design, API development, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness of the back-end services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using Node.js.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and other team members to create cohesive and integrated applications.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Integrate with databases, caching systems, and third-party APIs.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation and contribute to continuous improvements.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience with Node.js and backend development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), asynchronous programming, and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and microservices.
• Experience working with MongoDB, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Knowledge of Docker and cloud platform (AWS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong command of English (As our team’s primary language is English, effective communication is essential).
