Optimus Search has partnered with an exciting IoT company within the energy sector! Their revolutionary new product helps their customers achieve their net-zero climate goals by saving heating energy in both new and existing buildings. They are currently searching for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with hands on experience.


Responsibilities as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Take responsibility for the technical operation of our cloud and IoT infrastructure.
  • Ensure the scalability of our infrastructure and provide sufficient redundancy for critical systems.
  • Ensure a stable backup strategy, including disaster recovery and reliable restoration.
  • Identify appropriate measures for predictive maintenance to prevent failure of IoT components, such as LoRaWAN gateways.
  • Implement measures to ensure data protection and data security.
  • Collaborate with other backend, frontend, mobile, and hardware developers, designers, domain experts, and algorithm specialists to create the best possible solution for the product and customers.


To qualify as our Cloud Infrastructure Engineer:

  • Extensive experience in professional B2B software development.
  • Experience within the C#.NET environment.
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code / Config-as-Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Good experience with CI / CD environments.
  • Familiarity with IoT, M2M cellular communication, and ideally, experience with LoRaWAN.
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of patterns for resiliency, elasticity, and responsiveness.
