DevOps Engineer

Senior DevOps Engineer (completely full remote from Italy)

to join the DevOps & Application Support team, with responsibilities spanning production issue resolution, infrastructure automation, monitoring & performance optimization. The role involves close collaboration with Development & QA teams to ensure service reliability & continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement & manage monitoring & logging solutions
• Administer cloud infrastructure using IaC methodologies
• Develop & maintain CI/CD pipelines for application delivery
• Provide day-to-day operational support & incident resolution
• Actively participate in organizational processes including incident management, change management, security updates & service improvement initiatives
• Support the deployment & maintenance of new applications within the company’s framework
• Contribute to the launch of new applications by defining pipelines & IaC for new services
• Ensure post-go-live support & service level maintenance
• Collaborate effectively within the team, sharing responsibilities & duties

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in a similar DevOps or application support role
• Proficient in AWS services (ECS, EC2, CloudFront/WAF, Glue)
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation or Terraform
• Strong knowledge of Jenkins pipelines & Git-based version control
• Familiarity with microservices architecture & containerized environments (K8S, Docker)
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems & networking principles
• Proven experience with monitoring tools & configuration
• Experience with ticketing systems (preferably Jira)
• Competence in analysing complex web platform issues (client sessions, APM, RUM)
• Demonstrated ability to operate in high-demand, complex environments

Location: initial 2 days/week on-site for 2 months; full remote & 2 days/month thereafter
