About the Role

We are a fast-growing digital health company building platforms that help people manage their wellbeing, from online medical consultations to mental wellness and women’s health support. We are seeking a Backend Tech Lead to guide a small part of a 20 person Development team, drive technical strategy, and contribute hands-on to building scalable, high-quality systems.

What will you do?

• Lead backend architecture and make strategic technical decisions.
• Develop new features with focus on usability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Mentor developers and support their professional growth.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and QA teams to deliver reliable solutions.
• Contribute to team development, recruitment, and fostering a strong performance culture.

What will you bring?

• 5+ years backend development experience, 2+ in senior/lead roles.
• Strong PHP framework experience (Symfony/Laravel), MySQL/MariaDB, Docker, GitHub.
• Experience with APIs, microservices, and agile methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Bonus: experience in e-commerce, health-tech, or multidisciplinary product teams.
