Frontend Engineer (Lit.js and TypeScript)

Main responsibilities

• Build and maintain modular, reusable UI components using Lit.js and TypeScript
• Work closely with UX designers, backend engineers, and product managers to deliver responsive, high-quality web applications
• Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG), cross-browser support, and a mobile-first approach
• Optimize web performance using Lighthouse and Chrome DevTools
• Integrate with headless CMS platforms like Strapi and connect frontend components to backend APIs
• Write and maintain unit tests, participate in code reviews, and uphold coding standards
• Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to identify and resolve UI/UX issues

Core skills/experience

• 2 - 5 years of experience in frontend development
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Experience with Technical SEO, including schema markup and page speed best practices
• Familiarity with Core Web Vitals, Lighthouse reports, and browser performance analysis tools
• Solid understanding of Web Components and modular frontend architecture
• Experience integrating with CMS tools (e.g., Strapi) and RESTful APIs
• Proficient in version control (Git), CI/CD workflows, and agile methodologies
• Comfort using Unix-based systems
• Strong problem-solving and debugging abilities
