On behalf of a prestigious Pharmaceutical Company in the area of Ticino Canton we are looking for a Product Manager OTC (DE/FR).


JOB PURPOSE

Ensure the definition, formulation, implementation and coordination of marketing strategies and activities suitable for achieving the objectives set, for assigned products, within the multi-year plan and in particular in the annual operating budget.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•Ensures the development of marketing strategies, product concepts and marketing tactics in order to develop the competitiveness of the products under his/her responsibility.

•Ensures the drafting of the multi-year plan and operating budget through market indications and Group indications and guidelines in order to achieve the expected objectives in terms of turnover, expenses and profitability of the portfolio of responsibility (P&L analysis)

•Ensures the conception, planning and control of the marketing plan (price, promotional concept, channel, etc.), in compliance with the objectives of product positioning, market share and profitability set out in the budget.

•Ensures the monitoring and identification of competitors' activities and all possible new market niches for our products in order to develop the company's market presence (in terms of market share and turnover).

•Ensures the monthly analysis and updating of sales forecasts for product procurement, and the updating of official annual sales and investment forecasts according to the Group's calendar (Budget, official quarterly Forecasts, Strat Plans).

•Ensures the conduct of market surveys and periodic analysis of market data (IQVIA or other) to identify new opportunities, anticipate problems and potential niches for development and new products, and manages contacts with external suppliers for possible market introduction of new products.

•Contributes to networking with customers, opinion leaders, etc. in order to procure qualitative information to provide insights for optimal development of product sales.

•Providing for the definition of quantitative and qualitative objectives, related promotional and expenditure plan suitable for the achievement of these objectives in order to contribute to the achievement of the operating margin value defined for the company.

•Ensuring the development of budget proposals in terms of turnover and expenses and providing for their monitoring during the year in order to ensure their proper use

at the appropriate time and in the appropriate manner and acting proactively in case of deviations.

•Implementation of communication media, such as: Sales Aids, Visual Aids, Inserts, Flyers, Pharmacy Showcases, TV Spots etc.

•Realization of documents for meetings, training workshops and trainings. Eventually-always in close collaboration with medical management-processing scientific trainings and seminars.

•Ensures the coordination, in collaboration with sales managers, medical affairs, and anyone concerned, of all activities and operations related to products and provided for in the marketing plan, in the sales force training plan in order to pursue budget objectives in corporate team logic.

•Coordinates the launch of new products including through constructive relationship, and giving direction to the medical affairs structure in order to create synergies aimed at achieving expected results.

•Ensures, in collaboration with other departments, the organization of initiatives (forums, etc.) in favor of customers in order to increase the positive relationship.

•Ensures the identification of risk/hazard areas present in the area of responsibility in order to implement preventive actions in the areas of safety and environment. Ensures efficient and constant housekeeping maintenance by reporting any anomalies.


This role requires a strong background in marketing inside the pharmaceutical field, as well as excellent communication, collaboration, and proactive skills. At least 3-5 years’ professional experience specifically in relation to the Swiss market, along with German, French and English knowledge.
