Project Operations Manager

Overview

Based in Madrid (Hybrid HQ Role)

At The Roadmap, we’ve helped a long list of Irish businesses grow fast — and now we’re expanding into the UK, Spain, and beyond. As our client base and internal team grow month by month, we’re looking for a senior Project Operations Manager to help us stay focused, aligned, and building the right way.

This is a hybrid role based in Madrid (2 days in-office, 3 remote), working across multiple departments and helping a close-knit team stay sharp, motivated, and on track.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work with the leadership team and department leads to:

• Manage internal team operations, check-ins, priorities, and performance
• Track projects across teams — from content to creative to onboarding
• Run simple stand-ups and check-ins, spotting blockers early and helping remove them
• Support the team so they feel clear, confident, and focused every week
• Build and improve internal workflows and team structures
• Ensure we’re meeting targets across a specific number of new and returning client projects per month
• Be a consistent, people-first presence across the team as we grow
  
  

This Role Is For Someone Who Has...

• Has strong experience managing teams and projects, ideally in creative, digital, or client-focused companies
• Wants to take ownership of a growing operation, with the support of leadership
• Is a great communicator who listens well and keeps things calm, focused, and moving
• Understands how to use basic tools for task tracking, file sharing, and communication — and is confident helping others stay organised
• Is curious about AI and how smart tools can improve planning, reporting, or communication
• Is based in Madrid or willing to relocate for a hybrid leadership role
• Wants to build something long-term — not just deliver tasks
