Java Software Engineer

The IT department is currently undergoing a major transformation program aimed at upgrading legacy systems, introducing a unified operational framework, and significantly enhancing the overall user experience.

As an external consultant, you will design, build, and deploy new features within internal IT systems, working directly with stakeholders to ensure functionality meets real-world business and user requirements. You will be part of an agile delivery team, contributing to planning sessions, development sprints, and collaborative solution design.

Core Responsibilities:

• Build and integrate new system functionality in line with business objectives and user needs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, working closely with product owners, developers, and end users.
• Support modernization efforts to align systems with new architectural and operational standards.
• Ensure solutions are robust, scalable, and maintainable in complex, integrated environments.

Technical Expertise Required:

• 6+ years of proven experience in Java development.
• 4+ years working with process engines in product development (including defining workflows, process steps, decision logic, and automated progression).
• 4+ years with integration platforms.
• 4+ years of hands-on work in OpenShift, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• 4+ years in Java EE development.
• 4+ years developing and maintaining complex systems with extensive integrations.
• 4+ years implementing REST and SOAP service integrations.
• 4+ years managing AMQ/JMS queues.
• 2+ years experience with JBoss EAP.
• 2+ years using AngularJS.
• 2+ years working with Oracle databases.
