Position Overview

As a Full-Stack Developer, you will be a core member of our technology team, driving the development of secure, scalable, and efficient applications for our cryptocurrency exchange. This role requires expertise in Node.js as the main programming language, with knowledge of Go or Rust as a strong advantage, and a proven ability to work across both frontend and backend technologies. You will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and deliver solutions that meet the highest performance and security standards.

Relocation to Tirana, Albania is mandatory

Key Responsibilities

Backend Development

•  Design, develop, and maintain the core backend systems using Node.js.
•  Implement scalable and secure APIs for trading, account management, and payment processing.
•  Optimize backend performance for handling high-frequency transactions and large datasets.

Frontend Development

•  Collaborate with frontend developers to create seamless integrations between backend services and user interfaces.
•  Contribute to the development of responsive and user-friendly web applications using modern frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js).

System Architecture

•  Enhance and extend the platform’s architecture to support new features and services, including DeFi integrations.
•  Implement efficient database solutions (SQL and NoSQL) ensuring high availability and data security.

Integration

•  Work closely with blockchain engineers to integrate wallet systems and blockchain APIs into the exchange platform.
•  Coordinate with DevOps teams to deploy and monitor new features.

Security and Compliance

•  Implement robust security measures to safeguard user data and assets.
•  Ensure compliance with industry best practices and cryptocurrency exchange regulations.

Collaboration & Process

•  Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and team mentoring.
•  Work in cross-functional teams to design, develop, and ship new features on time.

Qualifications

Education

•  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience).

Technical Skills

•  Strong expertise in Node.js (primary language).
•  Knowledge of Go or Rust (preferred).
•  Full-stack experience, including proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js, or similar).
•  Experience with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
•  Familiarity with WebSocket and other real-time communication protocols.
•  Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar).
•  Understanding of authentication, encryption, and secure coding practices.
•  Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
•  Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux-based environments is a plus.

Experience

•  3–4 years of professional development experience.
•  Proven track record in full-stack development for complex systems, ideally in fintech, blockchain, or high-traffic platforms.
