Director of Business Intelligence

About the Role

As the Director of Business Intelligence, you will be responsible for defining and executing Miral Experiences’ BI strategy across multiple entities. You will lead a high-performing BI team, oversee the development of scalable data architectures, and ensure the successful delivery of dashboards, data models, and insights that support business growth and operational excellence.

This is a critical leadership position that requires strong technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the BI strategy, architecture, and operations for Miral Experiences and its entities.
• Manage a team of BI developers and analysts, driving agile, high-impact delivery.
• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and deliver actionable insights.
• Design and implement scalable data warehouses and semantic models.
• Oversee dashboard development using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Ensure high performance, data integrity, governance, and security standards.
• Promote BI adoption across the organization through training and support.
• Stay ahead of BI trends and introduce innovative tools and methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics roles
• Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 3+ years in a leadership capacity managing BI teams
• Proven hands-on experience with Tableau (admin/dev/analyst) or Power BI
• Strong knowledge of data architecture and cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Azure, Databricks)
• Expertise in semantic layer design, data modeling, and ETL pipelines
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management
• Proficiency in Agile delivery and BI best practices
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks and quality assurance
• Bonus: Azure certifications or knowledge of data science tools
