Game Developer

We are seeking a talented and creative Game Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for turning game concepts into engaging, playable experiences across various platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality video games from concept to finished product
• Write clean, efficient code using programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, artists, and producers to implement game features and mechanics
• Construct the base engine on which the game will run
• Create and implement game scripts, storyboards, and gameplay systems
• Develop and optimize 2D and 3D graphics, characters, environments, and user interfaces
• Implement audio features, including character voices, music, and sound effects
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting throughout the development process
• Contribute to game design discussions and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges
• Stay up-to-date with the latest gaming trends, technologies, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Proven experience in full lifecycle game development
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
• Experience with game engines like Unity or Unreal Engine
• Solid understanding of game design principles and mechanics
• Knowledge of 2D and 3D graphics programming and shader development
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Passion for video games and the gaming industry

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience shipping game titles from conception to completion
• Knowledge of AI programming and game physics
• Familiarity with mobile and console gaming platforms
• Understanding of multiplayer networking concepts
• Experience with Agile development methodologies
• Contributions to open-source projects or personal game development projects
