Job Title: Golang Developer

Location: Plano, TX (onsite)

What You'll Do

• Develop and maintain high-performing, scalable, and robust backend services using Go.
• Collaborate with product owners and team members in an agile environment to deliver on project milestones.
• Contribute to code quality through peer reviews, documentation, and rigorous testing.
• Solve complex challenges related to connected vehicle technology for mobility and telematics.
• Troubleshoot issues and debug codebases to ensure system reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• Go (Golang) Development: 2+ years of professional experience in Go programming, with a strong understanding of concurrency patterns using Go Routines and Channels.
• API & Communication: Hands-on experience with gRPC and Protocol Buffers for inter-service communication.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services, specifically:
• Secrets Manager
• SQS (Simple Queue Service)
• SNS (Simple Notification Service)
• Lambda
• Databases: Practical experience with NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB.
• Message Queues: Experience working with Apache Kafka to produce and consume messages.
• Containerization: Experience using containers with Docker and Kubernetes.

Tools & Methodologies:

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Proficiency with version control using Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD best practices.
