Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior AWS Architect to lead our cloud architecture initiatives in the UAE. In this pivotal role, you will design, implement, and manage AWS-based architecture to support business goals and optimize performance. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest standards of cloud solutions, setting the strategic direction for infrastructure and cloud services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of complex AWS architectures, ensuring best practices in scalability, security, and performance
  • Cloud Strategy Development: Develop and execute cloud strategies that align with business objectives, leveraging AWS services to enhance industry competitiveness
  • Security Best Practices: Implement security measures and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Performance Tuning: Optimize cloud applications and services using AWS tools to enhance efficiency
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to align architecture with stakeholder needs
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Maintain comprehensive architectural documentation and foster a learning culture within the team

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an AWS Architect or in a senior technical role, with a strong portfolio of successful AWS projects
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services (e.g., EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, RDS, CloudFormation) and relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional)
  • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and serverless computing
  • Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD, and automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Jenkins)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on cloud computing trends and best practices
