DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer | Freelance | Brussels (Hybrid)| 1 year contract

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support our client’s migration from legacy infrastructure to AWS. You will work closely with the development and infrastructure teams to design, implement, and automate the migration process, ensuring scalability, security, and operational efficiency in the new cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated infrastructure using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support application deployment in the new AWS environment.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage orchestration with Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance during and after migration.
• Document migration processes and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Experience & Skills

• Hands-on experience in DevOps, cloud automation, and AWS.
• Proven track record of supporting cloud migration or modernization projects.
• Strong knowledge of AWS core services
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS).
