Principal Process Engineer – PDH

Location: Qatar

Contract: 6 months (potential extension upon FEED award)

Work Pattern: Office-based, 5 days per week, 9 hours per day

We are seeking an accomplished Principal Process Engineer to join a major energy project, focusing on the early-stage development of downstream processing facilities. This role offers the opportunity to apply advanced process engineering expertise to high-value projects in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead process engineering activities across Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design phases.
• Apply in-depth technical knowledge to process units, ensuring optimal design and performance.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of process deliverables.
• Provide technical assurance, guidance, and mentorship to junior engineers.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 17 years of relevant experience in process engineering.
• Proven expertise in PDH (Propane Dehydrogenation), with strong knowledge of Selective Hydrogenation Process (SHP) and Olefins Cracking Process (OCP).
• Significant PMC and Pre-FEED project experience.
• Strong background in detailed design, Pre-FEED, and FEED phases for major projects.
