Senior Unreal Architect

We are looking for an experienced Senior Unreal Architect to be a part of a growing development team for a Video Game company. In this role, you will lead the technical architecture and systems design for our gaming projects. This role is essential in shaping the technology stack, performance standards, and best practices across our IPs as well as our AA, AAA, and Web3 co-development projects. The ideal candidate will bring a visionary approach to Unreal Engine architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability in cutting-edge gaming experiences.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee the technical architecture and core systems in Unreal Engine to support high-performance, cross-platform gaming experiences for both AA/AAA and Web3 projects
• Lead the technical design of modular, scalable, and efficient systems, working closely with engineering, design, and art teams to align architecture with game design requirements and performance standards
• Guide optimization and troubleshooting for complex game features, ensuring high frame rates, stability, and memory efficiency across platforms
• Collaborate on long-term technology strategy, identifying emerging tools and techniques to incorporate into the engine's architecture
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to other engineers, establishing best practices and ensuring high standards in coding, system design, and documentation
• Lead efforts in integrating Web3 technologies where applicable, including blockchain-based features, while ensuring performance and user experience remain seamless
  
  
  

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Unreal Engine with strong expertise in C++ programming and architectural design
• Proven experience as a technical architect in AA/AAA game development. Alternatively, experience in developing complex or large-scale games for PC, Web, and Consoles is also highly valued
• In-depth understanding of optimization techniques for real-time rendering, networking, and memory management
• Demonstrated ability to architect scalable systems that support large, complex games across platforms
• Strong leadership skills with experience guiding technical teams and setting high coding and design standards
• Knowledge of blockchain integration and related Web3 technologies is a plus
