In this role, you'll lead the modernization of a high-impact enterprise platform, moving from legacy systems to a cutting-edge TypeScript/React/Node.js stack. You'll collaborate with cross-regional teams, guide architecture, and mentor developers — all while delivering scalable, high-quality software that drives real results.

Location Requirement: This position is open only to candidates based in Argentina or Uruguay. Applicants from other countries will not be considered.

What To Expect In This Role (Responsibilities)
Lead the modernization of an enterprise platform, migrating from legacy systems to a modern stack with TypeScript, React, and Node.js.

Integrate frontend components with backend logic to build scalable, high-performance applications.

Develop reusable, testable, and efficient code with a focus on low latency and high availability.

Implement best practices for application security and data protection.

Collaborate with distributed teams and contribute to the integration of data warehousing solutions.

Requirements
5+ years of professional experience in JavaScript development, including at least 5 years working with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and integration of multiple data sources and databases into a single system.

Proven experience in user authentication/authorization, security and accessibility compliance, and designing scalable applications.

Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, CSS preprocessors, server-side templating, and designing database schemas that support business processes.

Hands-on experience with automated testing, unit testing, version control using Git, and optimizing applications for multiple delivery platforms (mobile and desktop).

Nice to Have

Experience working with cloud-based deployments and maintaining applications in AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration in distributed teams.

Knowledge of modern frontend and backend design patterns.

Exposure to DevOps practices for continuous integration and delivery.

Understanding of performance optimization techniques for large-scale applications.
