Are you a Business Analytics professional and want to teach in a new international Bachelor's program? Do you want to guide students in the field and develop work-related learning? We are looking for a senior lecture to our Business Department who masters different areas of Business Analytics and who can guide learning in the field in accordance with the needs of working life.
Your workplace is on our Kouvola campus, Finland. The position is permanent and full-time, starting from 1 January 2026 or according to agreement. The position is subject to a probationary period.
What does the position involve?
In this position, you will act as a key core competence teacher in the international Business Analytics programme (BBA) starting in the fall of 2026. Alongside teaching, the job includes supervising students' internships and theses in connection with assignments. Other student supervision roles and programme coordination tasks are possible. The position involves teaching in other business programmes. You will develop teaching together with the data analytics and digital business team. You will also work closely with the established Digital International Business BBA programme and the innovation and entrepreneurship programme (BBA) currently being developed at the European University INGENIUM. You will work closely with RDI units within the framework of a virtual data lab.

What do we expect from you?
You have strong substantive knowledge in the field through education and work experience and you enjoy face-to-face teaching but are also good at online teaching. You have a customer- and student-oriented attitude and good interaction skills. You know how to build meaningful learning processes with students, internal customers and client companies.
We expect you to have experience in data analytics, business analytics, digital transformation and new business development or similar tasks and practical experience in corporate life. International experience is a great advantage. We value business expertise, which is accompanied by sufficient technological understanding and practical knowledge of new technologies and continuous learning. This international position requires excellent command of both Finnish and English, and international experience is highly appreciated.
A passion for teaching and student guidance is important. The ability to organize work and your ability to withstand pressure are at a good level, so that you can cope with the routines of teaching and the tight rhythm of the semesters. You respond constructively to the needs of different learners from different cultures. We expect you to have experience in teaching or training tasks or otherwise acquired similar competence.
The candidate must hold a master’s degree and have a minimum of 3 years of practical work experience in the subject field. In addition, we also require that the candidate has either completed a teaching qualification, or will complete it within 3 years of taking up the post. These requirements are laid out in the Government Decree on Universities of Applied Sciences.
