Construction Project Manager - Solar

About The Role

A growing renewable energy developer is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee the execution of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) projects. From construction kick-off to grid connection, you’ll ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards. You will collaborate with EPCs, engineers, local authorities, and internal teams to guarantee project success and compliance throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage utility-scale PV construction projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and safety/quality standards
• Coordinate handover from development to construction phase
• Liaise with EPC contractors, engineering firms, DSOs, and local stakeholders
• Oversee site activities, material logistics, and scheduling
• Ensure grid connection processes and project close-out administration
• Track economic performance and prepare periodic progress reports
• Guarantee HSE and regulatory compliance on-site
• Deliver accurate “as-built” documentation post-construction
• Identify and resolve project risks and deviations from budget
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering or related technical field
• 5+ years of experience in renewable energy, specifically PV plant construction
• Proven understanding of EPC contracts and project workflows
• Strong command of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in English
• Willingness to travel regularly to project sites
