About The Role

We have partnered with a Bournemouth-based 'Technology Care' company that specializes in providing first-class protection and repair services for appliances and technology across the UK. As part of their ongoing growth, they are seeking to expand their small but dedicated technical team by hiring a talented WordPress PHP Developer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your skills will directly impact the company's online presence and customer engagement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the company's websites, ensuring they are functional, user-friendly, and aligned with business objectives. Additional expertise in digital analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Tag Manager is highly desirable, as the role involves analyzing website performance and optimizing user experience.

On a day-to-day basis, your responsibilities will include collaborating with stakeholders to determine website design and functionality, developing new features, and improving existing ones on both the frontend and backend. You will also be tasked with creating and maintaining website architecture, managing backend systems, including database integration, and troubleshooting any issues related to website content or performance.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess at least four years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong track record as a WordPress and PHP Developer. Proficiency in PHP programming and familiarity with the LAMP stack are essential. Experience working with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to monitor and analyze website performance is highly advantageous. The candidate should have excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders, translating technical requirements into functional solutions. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail are also important qualities for success in this role.
