UI/UX Design Intern

Location: Remote (US-based only)

Commitment: Flexible, Part-Time

Alervio® is looking for a UI/UX Design Intern who thrives on creativity, problem-solving, and bold ideas. This is not a typical internship. You’ll work directly with the founding team of a high-growth startup, helping bring cutting-edge concepts to life across web, mobile, and investor-facing experiences.

This is your chance to do work that matters, make your mark, and walk away with portfolio pieces that stand out in any room.

What You’ll Do:

• Design websites, landing pages, and mobile experiences using Figma

• Create mockups, wireframes, prototypes, and design systems

• Shape visual storytelling through infographics, pitch deck materials, and investor assets

• Collaborate with the team to refine user journeys and interaction flows

• Support rapid ideation, prototyping, and iteration in a startup setting

What We Look For:

• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX and visual design skills

• Proficiency in Figma and modern design tools

• Understanding of responsive, user-centered design principles

• Detail-driven with an eye for typography, spacing, and consistency

• Comfortable working independently in fast-moving environments

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Must be currently based in the United States

Bonus Points:

• Experience building design systems or reusable components

• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, or handoff tools (Zeplin, Framer, etc.)

• Interest in health, tech, or accessibility-focused design

• Prior experience with investor decks or startup branding

What You’ll Gain:

• Direct mentorship from the founding team

• Flexible hours and full remote flexibility

• Opportunity to design real, high-visibility work that goes beyond mock projects

• A chance to prove yourself in a mission-driven, high-caliber startup environment
