Scope of Work:
As a Digital Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our digital platforms, managing the platforms, onboarding new platform, addressing queries, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital services. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, customer-focused, and has a keen eye for detail.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Regularly review and update platforms to ensure compliance with vendor best practices and security protocols, maintaining optimal performance.
- Serve as the secondary point of contact for user inquiries and concerns, effectively addressing issues or coordinating with vendors for more complex matters.
- Oversee the implementation of new features and enhancements, while managing the troubleshooting process for any user-reported issues in collaboration with on-premises teams and vendors.
- Collect and analyse client feedback to identify opportunities for platform enhancements and improvements, fostering a user-centric approach.
- Track platform performance metrics to support data-driven decision-making and collaborate with development teams to address user needs for ongoing system improvements.
- Coordinate with backup administrators to ensure successful system backup and recovery processes, while managing the security aspects of the system in accordance with the security team guidelines.
- Formulate and authenticate comprehensive statements of work necessary for system change requests, migrations, and expansions, ensuring clarity and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Systematically manage and document inventories of systems and their associated licensing agreements, maintaining an up-to-date record that reflects current assets and compliance requirements.
- Regularly assess and analyze operational and security logs for the aforementioned systems, identifying any anomalies or areas for improvement to enhance overall system integrity.
- Execute both scheduled updates and on-demand modifications consistently, ensuring that all systems remain current and functional while minimizing disruption to operations.
Job Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
- Demonstrated expertise in the administration of digital platforms or comparable positions is necessary
- Proficiency in scripting languages is expected, along with a strong technical aptitude that enables rapid comprehension of new systems.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities are crucial, coupled with a customer-focused approach and a dedication to providing high-quality service.
- Certifications on existing platforms is a plus
