The Business Bank Advanced Analytics & Data (AAD) team make data matter by turning our data into actionable insights, creating self-service methods that enable teams to make data driven decisions and use analytics to improve the customer engagement experience across the Business Bank.

The AAD Digital Analytics & Insights team are experts across digital journeys and we draw on this expertise to experiment and help launch the next generation of online banking and mobile app experiences for our business customers.

In the role, you will work directly with Business Bank product owners and customer strategy to provide insights and reporting that will shape the strategic direction of Agentic AI solutions for our Business customers. Your insights & recommendations will directly contribute to the implementation of new AI assistants across customer facing channels including Digital. Specifically, you will:

• Develop in-depth knowledge of the Business Bank and provide insights that influence improvements to the business customer experience across Digital
• Create analytical deep dives and dashboards that provide a unified view of our Digital ecosystem in order to track customer experiences, sentiment and interactions with AI Assistants
• Use curiosity to understand and share real customer experiences, with impactful story telling or unique visualisations that can contribute to the design of Digital journeys and experiences
• Use data wrangling methods, apply advanced statistical concepts and build predictive models to deliver analysis on customer segmentation and profiling that can infer recommendations
• Communicate effectively and persuasively (verbal and written) to project teams and leaders

• Passion for data: You are naturally curious and driven about how data can be used to identify new opportunities and make impactful business decisions.
• Statistical foundation: You have a strong background in statistics and can leverage advanced concepts, experimentation and modelling to draw conclusions of significance
• Communication: You are a confident and capable communicator. You welcome the opportunity to present your work to a wider audience, and are willing to put in the work required to explain it clearly and effectively
• Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data driven insights to solve them
• Commercial experience with analytical tools & programming languages (SQL, Teradata, Python, Spark, Hive etc.)
• Knowledge of visualisation best practices for complex data relationships (Tableau, Power BI, R-Shiny)
• You have an interest in using AI tools and techniques to drive outcomes
• Minimum 2+ years in Data Analytics or similar experience (e,g. actuary, pricing or credit risk);
