About Us

At Paragon, our embedded integrations platform takes care of all the hard engineering problems around building integrations, with fully managed authentication, managed webhooks and API abstractions, built-in smart rate limits and error-handling, robust monitoring & debugging tools, an enterprise-ready workflow engine and much more.

We are looking for a strong developer to work with our Infrastructure team as we scale to serve hundreds of APIs and integrations. You’ll be responsible for auditing and improving our CI/CD pipeline, maintaining our sandbox and production infrastructure, and improving system reliability.

We take an automation-first approach to our Infrastructure. We use TypeScript and Terraform heavily in building pipelines and infrastructure with very little done through the UI. Our entire application and infrastructure is version controlled and promoted through different environments before reaching production, providing us the ability to do rigorous quality assurance in nearly identical environments. Given our development approach and nature of our distributed services, having a background in both application development and DevOps is crucial to being successful in this role.

What You’ll Do

Build our sandbox and production infrastructure
Maintain system monitoring and alerts
Manage our CI/CD pipeline
Improve internal development workflows
Provide ad-hoc DevOps support and maintenance

What You’ll Use

Languages & Libraries: Node.js, TypeScript
Data: Postgres, Redis, Kafka
Infrastructure: Docker, Helm, Terraform, Kubernetes, AWS
Monitoring & Alerts: Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry

You should have

3+ years working with Node.js (building servers, scripting) and deploying to AWS cloud
1+ years working deeply with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker
Experience managing and working with CI/CD pipelines
Confidence working in a high-autonomy, fast-paced environment where you’ll be responsible for decisions that influence the direction of the company
