Your contribution to BridgeFund as a Security Platform Engineer:

As a Security Platform Engineer, you ensure that our systems and processes meet the highest security standards. You’ll focus on performing risk assessments, implementing security protocols, and proactively testing our systems. Additionally, you’ll collaborate with third parties for penetration tests and continuously scan for vulnerabilities to mitigate risks. You’ll help build secure, future-proof IT solutions and ensure our processes comply with GDPR and financial regulations.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining security protocols to minimize risks.
• Integrating automated security and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines.
• Performing regular risk analyses and penetration tests to identify and resolve vulnerabilities.
• Creating and implementing incident response plans.
• Collaborating with third parties to conduct security audits and penetration tests.
• Continuously improving security frameworks and procedures based on the latest trends and risks.
• Organizing training sessions to increase security awareness within the team and the organization.

What you bring:

• At least 5 years of experience in a security-focused role, such as DevOps Security or Information Security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with cloud security on platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Deep knowledge of security and privacy principles, including authentication, encryption, and GDPR compliance.
• Familiarity with security governance, risk assessments, and compliance practices.
• Proven success in developing disaster recovery and incident response plans.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD) with a focus on security automation.
• Experience with containerization and infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Preferably relevant certifications (CISSP, CCSP).
