We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of IT Security Analyst to join our dynamic team for our client, one of the major banks.


Location Address: Hybrid - 3–4 days onsite in the beginning, subject to possible change from FI

Contract Duration: 1 year


Typical Day in Role:

• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.

• Follow established processes

Provisioning, 2nd-line support of MFA Hard and Soft tokens, VPN PKI certificates and One-Time/Multi-Time Verification Codes, as requested/approved by GIAM Manager

• Process urgent terminations as directed by intake team or management team

• Utilize troubleshooting skills to understand systems’ issues and the potential root causes

• Utilize organizational knowledge to understand the teams and interactions involved in relevant systems/processes

• Demonstrate personal accountability for assigned initiatives and daily processes

• Demonstrate effective communication skills, and present improvement ideas up to Director level

• Coordinate with 1st & 3rd level support when applicable and provide resolution recommendations to management

• Escalate all high priority issues affecting availability, customer impact and user impact to the Senior Manager

• Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

• Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with bank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:

• 8+ years of working experience as an IT Security Analyst

• 4+ years of experience working with VPN concepts and platforms (specifically Cisco and Entrust)

• 5+ years of working experience in MS Office especially excel

• 1+ years of experience in PKI certificate distribution

• 2+ years of experience with Azure and Entra ID



Nice-To-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of Python scripting is an asset.

• Intermediate knowledge of network technology/topology

-CISSP is an asset


Soft Skills Required:

• Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently or with minimal direction

• Strong organizational skills

-Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential


Education:

• College degree/Diploma in Computer Science or technical equivalent
