Salary: Up to £85,000

Location: Remote First with occasional London-based meet-ups

We’ve partnered with an AI-driven software house that is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, fine-tune, and deploy cutting-edge AI models and systems, enabling intelligent workflows across content generation, adaptation, and compliance.

In this role, you’ll architect and own mission-critical AI modules, from large-scale language models to multimodal generative systems. You’ll lead through code, setting technical benchmarks via architecture decisions, reviews, and mentorship.

You'll work cross-functionally with platform, product, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance AI at scale.

Although this is not a people management role, the mindset they seek is one of ownership, innovation, and efficiency, much like a start-up or scale-up environment.

Key Technologies You’ll Be Working With

• AI & ML: Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LLamaIndex
• System Architecture: FastAPI, Flask, Node.js
• Data & MLOps: MLflow, Weights & Biases, versioning strategies for large labelled datasets
• Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, GPU-accelerated services (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Other: RESTful & GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Git best practices
