Security Engineer - Imperva WAF

Job Description

  • Manage and support Imperva WAF, tuning policies and mitigating web-based threats.
  • Administer and maintain RSA Archer for risk and compliance reporting, including GRC workflows.
  • Deploy, manage, and monitor Database Firewall (DBF) for activity and anomaly detection.
  • Use RSA NetWitness for threat detection, investigation, and log analysis
  • Integrate and optimize Cisco FMC (Firepower Management Center) and Cisco ISE for perimeter and endpoint protection.
  • Implement and support MS GSA ZTNA as part of the organization's Zero Trust strategy.
  • Work with the Vulnerability Management team to triage findings, track remediation efforts, and ensure timely closure.
  • Use ServiceNow to manage and resolve problem tickets and monitor SLAs.
  • Develop technical documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with compliance and audit teams to meet regulatory and security requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in cybersecurity or security engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with at least 3 of the following tools:
  • Imperva WAF
  • RSA Archer
  • RSA NetWitness
  • Database Firewall (e.g., Imperva DBF)
  • Experience with:
  • Cisco FMC and Cisco ISE
  • Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) solutions, preferably Microsoft GSA ZTNA
  • ServiceNow, especially handling problem tickets and SLA tracking
  • Vulnerability scanning tools and remediation processes
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, web application threats, and secure architectures
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
