Senior Software Engineer (Helsinki, Turku or Tampere)

We're on the lookout for a Full Stack Engineer to take ownership of a critical area within the businesses salary payment and invoicing platform. This is a mature solution (200,000+ lines of code) with ERP integration, hosted on AWS and integrated with Firebase and the Google Play Store.

🧑‍💻 The team:

You'll be part of a tight-knit development team of 10 full-stack engineers (each owning their domain), plus a designer. The broader organization includes 150 employees, and your line manager is hands-on, supportive, and building a new career pathway framework.

Key points:

📍 Team presence in Tampere, Helsinki & Turku (flexible/hybrid working policy.)

💬 Finnish fluency required (due to stakeholders & customer engagement as well as internal documentation.)

Responsibilities:

💻 Continuous Full Stack development using React, Node.js, TypeScript & AWS

🔄 Full development lifecycle ownership

🤝 Communicate and collaborate with business stakeholders

🧭 Co-own product roadmap decisions & workflow steering

🤖 Explore AI capabilities (not a core focus but part of the roadmap)

Requirements:

💪 Multiple years of experience as a Senior Engineer with the following stack:

🧑‍🎨 React, Node.js, TypeScript, SQL & PostgreSQL

☁️ AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront)

🔥 Firebase & Google Play Store publishing

🔁 CI/CD pipelines

🧩 ERP systems & business logic understanding

🗣️ Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

🧭 Self-direction and decision-making capability (not just ticket-pushing)

🧠 Generative AI knowledge or curiosity (beneficial)
