Dotnet Developer

Role Description

We are looking for an experienced .NET & Azure Developer with strong expertise in backend development, cloud platforms, and agile delivery. The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of .NET technologies, Azure stack, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines, along with experience in secure, scalable solutions in banking/financial back-office environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain applications using .NET Core/.NET 8, Entity Framework, and SQL.
• Build and maintain Web APIs (Swagger, REST, OAuth, Azure App Registrations).
• Apply and promote TDD/BDD practices, guiding team members in writing unit and integration tests.
• Improve and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML, and Azure CLI.
• Work with Azure technology stack: App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID (Azure AD), IaaS, PaaS, ADF.
• Collaborate with product owners to define and implement technical improvements.
• Contribute to security initiatives (vulnerability management, compliance).
• Participate in agile ceremonies and actively support continuous improvement.
• Provide mentorship within a small development squad (3-person teams).
• Ensure delivery quality by following software design principles and best practices.

Essential Skills

• 8+ years overall IT experience with 4+ years in .NET and SQL development.
• Strong knowledge of Agile ways of working (Scrum/Kanban).
• Hands-on experience with:
• Azure DevOps, CI/CD, YAML, Bicep, Azure CLI
• Azure infrastructure & services (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, Entra ID, ADF, IaaS, PaaS)
• .NET Core / .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework
• Web APIs, Swagger, REST, OAuth, Azure App Registrations
• Unit testing, TDD, mocking frameworks, BDD (Cucumber)
• Git and code management practices
• Strong focus on security, compliance, and quality.
• Ability to explain technical features at beginner and advanced levels.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in Banking/Finance back-office environments.

Desirable Skills

• Broader exposure to enterprise security frameworks.
• Experience with performance tuning and monitoring in cloud environments.
