Digital Infrastructure Engineer

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the implementation of the EIB funded project called: Global Gateway private sector digital infrastructure project delivery advisory services and is searching for experts to support the core team during the implementation of this project.

The overall objective of this assignment is to provide digital infrastructure promoters comprehensive advisory services to secure and deploy financing from EIB and co-financers for projects contributing to the EC’s Global Gateway.

Duration: The intended start date is October 2025, and the period of implementation of the contract will be 48 months from this date.

Key Expert: Digital Infrastructure Engineer

☝️ Qualifications and skills:

• University degree in Engineering or equivalent. Telecommunication, Civil Engineering or computer science would be an advantage;
• Fluency in oral and written English;
• Working knowledge of French will be considered as an asset.

☝️ General professional experience:

• At least 7 years of experience in digital infrastructure in one or more of the following functional areas: planning/design, deployment, supervision of the deployment, optimisation, assessment, operation and maintenance or presales engineering either as an employee of an operator or consultant/contractor/supplier.

☝️ Specific professional experience:

• At least 2 years of experience in digital infrastructure in Africa;
• At least 1 year of the presented experience should be in the mentioned functional areas for mobile network projects;
• Experience in long distance transmission, including terrestrial and/or submarine will be considered an advantage;
• Experience in FTTH and/or datacentres will be considered an advantage.
